A specialized training course on human trafficking prevention

In collaboration with the Jordan Hotels Association, five-star and four-star hotels in the capital, Amman, completed a specialized training course on human trafficking prevention, organized by the Human Trafficking Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department.

The course spanned two days and covered several key areas aimed at strengthening the tourism security system in Jordan. The training provided comprehensive information on how to identify human trafficking victims, in addition to training participants on advanced technical rules for collecting evidence in human trafficking cases.

The course focused on the importance of protecting tourism, especially tourist and hotel areas, by enhancing the sense of security for both citizens and tourists. Special attention was given to raising awareness among hotel staff on how to handle human trafficking cases and create a safe and informed environment within hotels.

This course is an important step in Jordan’s efforts to combat human trafficking and ensure a safe and reassuring tourism environment for all, further enhancing Jordan’s reputation as a distinguished tourist destination that prioritizes the safety and security of its visitors.
